Beyond Warehousing Expands Business in Kansas City Metro
Kansas City Missouri: On July 1st, Beyond Warehousing, a full-service 3PL warehouse, opened its second building. The new facility is in South Kansas City and part of the Blue River Commerce Center.

The logistical benefits of Kansas City aided Beyond Warehousing during initial conversations of expansion. With five Class 1 rail lines and four intermodal facilities, Kansas City is an optimal location for warehousing activity. The region also has immediate access to four major U.S. interstates, improving the efficiency of distribution and fulfillment. In addition, the new building is near a variety of manufacturers, incentivizing the area to clients.
The Kansas City, Missouri location has 40 dock doors and is registered with the USDA and FDA. The building’s 40-foot ceilings allow for up to 35,000 pallet positions. The location adds 330,000 square feet to the 270,000 square feet at Beyond Warehousing’s first warehouse in Edgerton, Kansas. The company now has over 600,000 square feet of ambient warehousing space in the Kansas City metro. The new facility, located in the Old Bannister Federal Complex, will bring 50 additional jobs to the area.
