About Beyond Warehousing

Beyond Warehousing was founded in 2019 because our leadership team saw a major gap in the 3PL industry for a true warehousing partner with an honest business model. Our first warehouse opened in Edgerton, KS just three months before the world shut down due to COVID-19. Difficult times caused serious supply chain disruptions, but Beyond Warehousing continued to grow and provide value for our clients. Now, with all the changes brought about by the pandemic, warehousing space and fulfillment services are in high demand. Our company’s rapid growth led to the planned launch of our third Kansas City warehouse location in 2023 with nationwide expansion on the horizon.

What Sets Us Apart

Responsiveness

At Beyond Warehousing, our clients are not treated like just another number. We are committed to providing excellent customer service to all clients no matter the size of the opportunity.

Authenticity

What you see is what you get. Beyond Warehousing is authentic and straightforward in all aspects of our business. That’s just who we are. We are transparent in our pricing by showing you what you’ll actually pay. We don’t believe in hidden fees or surprises on invoices. One thing we do believe in is taking ownership of a mistake and problem solving to ensure errors are not repeated.

Flexibility

Beyond Warehousing provides a customized solution for the needs of each of our clients’ unique business. We have flexibility to expand or reduce services when needed. Need a service right now? Let’s make it happen.

Capabilities

Beyond Warehousing is a full-service 3PL warehouse. We provide short-term and long-term storage, contract warehousing, ecommerce fulfillment, kitting, vendor compliance, transloading, and more. Many third-party logistics companies offer similar services, but there is a difference between offering a service and having the capabilities to perform the service at a high level. Whether it’s all or part of your supply chain, we want to explore solutions with you.

Our Core Values

The relationships with our customers, employees, and investors are our most valuable assets. We will strive to always take care of each other and to operate our business so that we maintain our culture of appreciation, respect, transparency, and we shall avoid office politics.
As we conduct our business, we will operate with the highest integrity and we shall strive to live by the Golden Rule.
Every individual shall take ownership, be accountable, and take responsibility while avoiding blame, excuses, and denial. We will always strive to admit, learn, and grow from failure and mistakes.
We will approach every deal with an appropriate margin of safety and maintain our financial discipline while never stretching for a deal or becoming greedy.
We believe we have an obligation to give back to the community through charitable efforts and, as a token of our appreciation to those who have helped us succeed, we will pay it forward.

My first job was as a produce clerk at Hy-Vee. I learned so much about customer service and fruits and veggies! I can always pick the best melon or juiciest orange!

What is your favorite part of your job at BW?

Launching Beyond Warehousing has been one of the most challenging and gratifying events of my professional life, so picking a FAVORITE isn’t easy. Nothing is easy when you are starting a new business and I’d have to say my favorite part is growing a team. We have had to figure out what is needed as we grow and it has been so great watching team members get out of their comfort zone, step up, and deliver results. It reiterates that we have hired the right people!

Why did you join Beyond Warehousing?

When I founded Beyond Warehousing, I had been in Amazon fulfillment centers. I learned SO much while I was there, but I needed a new challenge. A new opportunity. As I looked at the 3PL market, I saw there was an opportunity to bring a high value, high service, completely transparent 3PL into the market. I was lucky enough to have a great group of former Amazonians ready to come join me and haven’t looked back.

What motivates you?

Having a positive impact on those around me has always been a huge motivator for me. If someone wants to put forth the effort, I will always go out of my way to help others.

What does leadership mean to you?

Being an effective leader is setting a vision for your team and then helping clear the way for them to achieve that vision.

What is your favorite family tradition and why?

Perogies at Christmas time. My mom came from a big Polish family and we always made perogies as a family the day after Thanksgiving with a big dinner that night. We’d freeze enough for a perogy feast on Christmas Eve. We’ve brought that tradition to our small family and make/dine on perogies (some sauerkraut, some cheese) on Christmas Eve.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?

I love going to the mountains with my family. Hiking in the mountains is my happy spot (once I have adjusted to the altitude of course).

What does the core value “Taking Ownership of Every Situation” mean to you?

Taking ownership of every situation means that we take care of our responsibilities and hold ourselves to a high bar. Beyond Warehousing’s culture allows us to address issues head on rather than wading through blame and excuses to find the truth. I will own up if I am wrong or if I could have done better. I expect my team to hold themselves to the same bar.
